twotinytigers started as a notes app full of things we learned the hard way — and turned into the cat resource we wished we'd had on day one.
Why we do this
We're not veterinarians, breeders, or influencers. We're two people who adopted two ridiculous cats, made a pile of beginner mistakes, and spent an embarrassing amount of time researching our way out of them. Everything here is what we genuinely figured out — tested in a real home, with real cats, on a real budget.
How we test gear
If we recommend a product, it's because it survived weeks of actual use. We buy most of what we review ourselves, we tell you when something's a dud, and we flag affiliate links clearly. A recommendation you can't trust is worthless — to you and to us.
The rule is simple: would we tell a friend to buy this? If not, it doesn't get a "buy" button.
What we'll never do
- Pretend to be experts we're not — health questions always point you to your vet.
- Hide sponsorships or stuff pages with ads until they're unreadable.
- Write 3,000 words of filler to rank on Google. Short and useful beats long and padded.
